Inclusive Education
While research demonstrates the importance and value of inclusive education for all learners, this is not the experience for many children, youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The challenge of developing inclusive schools and providing inclusive experiences extends well past policy to education professionals, families, caregivers and students.
This stream is deeply committed to improving inclusive education by using intersectional approaches that consider differences in ability, culture, gender, sexual orientation, race, class and spiritual beliefs.
