Employment and Transitions

Improving employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with an additional focus on youth transitioning to adulthood.

Employment is a key aspiration for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and a key priority for the community inclusion sector. Research demonstrates that employment enhances quality of life for most working-age adults and is important for social inclusion.
