Jade Campbell

Jade Campbell is a practicing community Registered Nurse,  and a Master of Nursing student at UBCO School of Nursing. Jade has worked as a Research Assistant at UBC Okanagan under the supervision of Dr. Lise Olsen assisting with the development of a website focused on inclusive and safe recreation for families of autistic children.

Jade‘s Masters thesis research further aligns with her interests in developing inclusive and accessible environments for neurodiverse individuals, employing qualitative interviews with autistic children and caregivers to explore the barriers and facilitators of accessing healthcare in rural emergency departments.

Jade values and prioritizes the voices and perspectives of those who are living the experience of inclusivity, which is the result of being the caregiver to two autistic self-advocate daughters.
