Join members of the Canadian Institute for Inclusion and Citizenship (CIIC) for an exciting opportunity to explore current research projects and community engagement initiatives that are shaping a more inclusive and empowering future for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities!

This pre-conference event brings together researchers and project partners to showcase transformative findings that have the power to shape the future of service design and delivery while improving inclusion and citizenship for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families locally, provincially, nationally and internationally.

The CIIC is committed to working in partnership with community and undertaking shared research with relevance.

The CIIC conducts research across five impactful streams:

  • Policy, Practice & Ethics
  • Employment & Transitions

  • Working with Indigenous Communities

This is your chance to engage with research presented in accessible formats, including posters, videos and clear, plain-language summaries. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, join lively discussions and contribute your thoughts to this important work.
